We are looking for a General Manager, Environment with a main responsibility in developing Wärtsilä's overall environmental agenda, substance management and management system framework. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Finland, but other Wärtsilä locations in Finland can be considered. We offer a possibility for hybrid work.

Your role and responsibilities

As a General Manager, Environment, you will be responsible for developing and driving Wärtsilä's environmental agenda substance management, environmental management framework and building strong environmental expertise across the organization. The role covers corporate-level frameworks as well as close collaboration with the businesses on topical environmental matters. You'll be working as part of the Public Affairs and Sustainability team with diverse expertise.
