Google Data Solution Architect

Joining our Data Team as a Data   Solutions Architect , you’ll be the strategic architect of our data future. You don't just bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution; you close it. By designing high-performance, scalable architectures that fit perfectly within our global ecosystem, you enable a team of Data Engineers to reach new heights of operational excellence. We’re looking for a leader who blends deep-dive coding experience with the vision to coach an autonomous, high-standard team. Job Description System Design and Architecture: You define end-to-end technical flows on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stack and ensure alignment with corporate standards. API Subject Matter Expert: You lead the design of API architectures, whether they are generic, sector-specific, or dedicated to front-end applications. Translation of Business Requirements: You work closely with Product Owners to convert functional requirements into concrete technical work packages. Technical Mentorship: You guide Data Engineers in solving complex problems and foster the continued professional growth of the team. Data Governance: You oversee the design of the Data Warehouse in BigQuery and strictly monitor security and privacy standards (IAM, data protection). AI Architecture: You define implementation standards for AI and Machine Learning models within the data platform. Financial Optimization (FinOps): You design financially sustainable solutions by continuously optimizing GCP resources and query performance. Innovation and PoCs: You conduct Proof of Concepts to evaluate new tools and keep the technological stack future-proof. Quality Assurance: You perform periodic reviews to guarantee that implementations align with the initial architectural designs.

Your Profile You hold a university degree , preferably in an engineering or scientific field. You possess relevant experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect , or in a similar technical expert role. Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and associated data transformation solutions is essential. You have a strong understanding of architectures and solutions related to Artificial Intelligence . You are fluent in English ; knowledge of Dutch or French is a significant asset. You have strong analytical skills to reduce complex problems into elegant solutions. Thanks to your strong interpersonal skills , you know how to persuade others, build trust, and stay attuned to the needs of the team. You are autonomous, proactive , and maintain constant technological surveillance to stay informed of innovations.
