We are looking for you, Researcher / Senior Researcher, Material Chemist for Corrosion Research
to join our Refining & Technology Validation Research team at the Porvoo Technology Center, Finland. You will become part of the Catalysts & Refining department, a dedicated group of approximately 30 professionals focused on key areas including catalysis, conversion / refining technologies, corrosion studies, and refinery support.
As Material Chemist Researcher, you will be a key enabler in developing new corrosion data and understanding material performance through experimental work. Your expertise on materials, their performance, and especially on chemical interaction with materials (inorg. chemistry) will be leveraged in product and technology development projects, vital to Neste’s strategic growth. This role also involves providing expert service and support to our refineries on corrosion-related questions.
This position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including experts from the Technology & Innovation function (researchers, operators, project/program managers) and refinery personnel across all Neste sites, as well as external stakeholders. Corrosion and Material research is one of the key capabilities in the development of sustainable and innovative technologies.
