Senior Specialist, Marketing Oncology

Position Overview

Overall topline responsibility for marketing of a certain product or product portfolio & services

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that promote our products and services, while also working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with the company's goals and values

Drive marketing projects including analysis, strategy and business & brand plan development, implementation of omnichannel campaigns and expense management delegated to her/ him

Ensure all activities are driven by highest ethical and compliance standards

Primary Activities

Strategy development:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that promote our products and services

Translate the global and local product strategy into local priorities and lead development of brand specific L3 brand plans

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the company's overall goals and values

Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales collateral, presentations and other OCE materials (digital, print & event material) that support the sales process

Market understanding

Analyze market research to identify trends and opportunities and use this data to inform marketing strategies & implement respective measures to achieve business goal

Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and new product launches and use this information to adjust marketing strategies as needed

Customer focus:

Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, agencies, PAGs and key opinion leaders in the industry

Cost management:

Create and manage budgets for marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness using data analytics

Cross functional collaboration:

Ensure alignment on L3 brand plan between various stakeholders and departments such as Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, DDAL (Digital, Data, Agile und Learning) & ComOps

Leading OCE agile brand teams towards commercial excellence in execution

Requirements

  • Education:
  • University Degree or above, preferably in business or life sciences (e.g. marketing, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, medicine)
  • Skills Required:
  • Deep knowledge of the overall Austrian healthcare system and the role of the individual customer groups within the healthcare environment (oncology an advantage)
  • Proven ability to understand & learn science and translate it into messages
  • Ability to develop and manage professional relationships, networking & to navigate within matrix organization
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory compliance, and marketing guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling marketing messages and content
  • Understanding of customer behavior and the ability to develop customer personas to inform marketing strategy
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and the ability to manage customer data effectively
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through agile working principles
  • Experience with data analytics and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical / compliance, ComOps, DDAL
  • German & English proficiencies
  • Strong MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) expertise
  • Track record of several years’ experience as Jun. BCM and/or BCM.
  • Ability to work independently with hardly any supervision
