We are looking for a

MECHANICAL PRODUCT ENGINEER (Documentation & Engineering Support)

to join our engineering organization on-site in Espoo.

This role strengthens the interface between mechanical design, production, and documentation. You will be part of a growing engineering support function, working closely with both R&D and operations to ensure that mechanical designs are clearly documented, manufacturable, and ready for reliable production use.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Mechanical Product Engineer, your work is hands-on and product-focused. Rather than designing entirely new concepts, you will take ownership of production-facing engineering tasks and support the transfer of designs into manufacturing in a structured and consistent way.

Your responsibilities include:

Preparing, updating, and maintaining mechanical production documentation such as drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions

Reviewing mechanical designs and design changes for clarity, correctness, and manufacturability prior to release

Supporting internal mechanical testing and assisting with structured test reports

Contributing to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews related to tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes

Supporting engineering change management activities (ECR/ECO/ECN) and ensuring changes are properly documented, reviewed, and communicated
