Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a strategic procurement initiative focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) services. This role is critical in ensuring the successful procurement, transition, and implementation of a modern identity platform to support municipal operations.
The position requires a highly independent professional with strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in IAM, and hands-on experience in public sector procurement processes.
Project Background
The client’s IT function operates as a strategic unit responsible for defining technology direction and sourcing services from external vendors. Currently, IAM services—including support, operations, and development—are managed under an existing supplier agreement supporting both administrative and educational services (schools and preschools).
The client is now initiating a new procurement process to enhance and modernize the identity platform, including future transition and operational capabilities.
