Design Applications Administrator

High-quality engineering design and value-creating digital products and services require functional, reliable and well-developed design environments and solutions, and skilled experts behind them. We’re looking for a new colleague for our Digital Transformation team!

Your role and the team

Join us as we strengthen our Digital Transformation (DT) organization, where we deliver digital products and services to customers across all our business areas. This position can be based at any of our offices, please let us know your preferred location in your application.

As a Design Applications Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring that our design environments support smooth project execution, high-quality outcomes and effective collaboration. You will also contribute to the development and offering of digital services built around design applications and software.

You will work as part of Elomatic’s DT organization in the Design Applications team, in close cooperation with designers, project teams, IT, other DT teams and software vendors.

In this role, you will

Set up, administer and develop project-specific design environments

Ensure the usability, performance and reliability of design applications

Support projects and end users as an expert in design applications and environments

Develop application usage together with internal stakeholders and software vendors

Act as a subject-matter expert in the development and offering of digital services

Participate in internal development initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and user experience

Document solutions and capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement

Your areas of responsibility may focus on specific Cadmatic applications (e.g. Wave, Outfitting, Hull, Plant, PID, Electrical, Draw) or expand depending on your expertise, interests and career ambitions.
