HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management is a state-owned company that provides training and development services to the state administration. HAUS has extensive experience in global public sector reform and development projects, having been involved in over 50 international government projects for over 20 years.

We are hiring an Expert (Project Manager) for the Nigeria Digital Public Services and Talent Initiative.

About the project:

The EU-funded Nigeria Interoperable Digital Services and Skills Initiative supports Nigeria's digital transformation by establishing the foundations for secure, interoperable and user-centric digital public services.

During the past years, Nigeria has made significant progress in advancing its digital economy through investments in broadband connectivity, connected compute infrastructure, digital identity, payment systems, and sectoral e-government platforms. Digitalisation is firmly embedded in national development priorities, reflecting the government's ambition to improve public service delivery, enhance transparency, and position Nigeria as the leading digital economy in West Africa. However, structural challenges remain and the project responds to challenges identified in national strategies, including fragmented systems, limited interoperability, and insufficient institutional and human capacity to design and operate integrated digital services at scale.

The project consists of two Specific Objectives:

SO2: Increased access of Nigerian citizens and businesses to digital public

services in line with EU' standards of transparency, privacy, safety and cybersecurity

SO3: Enhanced youth's market relevant ICT competencies beyond major

urban centers.
