As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor to advancing our infrastructure by developing the Kalmar Deployment Platform (based on Kubernetes). You will not merely utilize this platform but play a critical role in its strategic global roll-out across our internal data centers and international customer sites
What are your key responsibilities:Architectural Contribution: Actively participate in the continued development and refinement of the Kalmar Deployment Platform.
Global Deployment Leadership: Oversee the deployment of our Kubernetes-based solutions to customer premises worldwide, ensuring consistency and resilience across challenging environments.
Hybrid Cloud Expertise: Manage a substantial hybrid cloud footprint utilizing cloud-native technologies, specifically Talos Linux and Omni.
Infrastructure Optimization: Ensure a balance of high availability and cost efficiency across On-Premise hardware and external Cloud providers.
Edge Computing Management: Facilitate the operation of Edge Kubernetes clusters that manage hundreds of robotic machines, implementing intelligent software rollout strategies.
Operational & Mentorship Responsibility: Assume responsibility for daily operational tasks and provide essential coaching, support, and technical expertise for our internal tooling.
