About this role

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end‑to‑end business analysis activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, internal teams, and partners to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for complex initiatives involving  Generative AI (GenAI)  and other innovative technologies. Facilitate and run process analysis workshops with internal stakeholders to: Map current‑state business processes Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and pain points Design future‑state processes leveraging emerging technologies to optimise workflows and improve operational efficiency Work in close partnership with development teams and external vendors to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and delivered on time and within scope. Develop and support structured evaluation processes to assess potential solutions against business requirements and strategic objectives. Drive the implementation of large‑scale systems, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet both regulatory and business requirements. Mentor and develop junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, capability building, and knowledge sharing. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis and solution delivery. Support business development and client engagements through thought leadership on emerging technologies, particularly  GenAI , and their practical applications.

Education & Professional Qualifications Third‑level qualification in an IT‑related discipline  or  a primary degree followed by a postgraduate IT qualification. Academic focus or exposure to  AI, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing (NLP)  is advantageous. Business analysis certification in one or more of the following: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) PMI‑PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) Agile Business Analyst certification (e.g., PMI‑ACP, ICAgile Certified Professional) Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification Project management certifications are advantageous, including: PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner PMI‑PMP Experience Required 6–7 years of progressive business analysis experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience facilitating: Process analysis workshops Process mapping (as‑is / to‑be) Business process improvement initiatives enabled by technology Demonstrated experience delivering AI, automation, or technology‑enabled solutions within  Tax, Finance, or related professional services  environments. Strong track record of implementing large‑scale technology solutions, ideally within professional services organisations. Hands‑on experience delivering  Generative AI (GenAI)  solutions is highly advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and external vendors. Understanding of  Tax, Assurance, and/or Consulting  business processes and relevant regulatory frameworks is advantageous. Experience working within professional services firms is preferred. Demonstrated ability to introduce and manage change with sound judgement and pragmatism. Travel requirements: 3 days per week on client site in Dublin.
