The Air Systems function develops and delivers air systems for packaging and paper industry . Our solutions help customers increase productivity, reduce operating costs, save energy, and improve quality. We work closely with other Valmet businesses, providing expert support and driving joint development. Our main location is in Raisio , Finland.

We are now looking for a Development Engineer to join our Technology team . In this role you will carry out demanding research and product development projects related to board and paper machine technology, supporting both customers and Valmet organization by act ing as an expert in process technology matters . Your tasks and responsibilities will include p rocess modeling, such as board, paper and coating drying modeling , and developing and maintaining related simulation and dimensioning software. You will carry out measurements and process analyses at customer machines, to solve problems occurring in them and to improve the operation and efficiency of the machines . You will carry out dimensioning of drying solutions, heat recovery and other processes in customer projects .
