R&D Engineer, Systems

This is a permanent full-time role where you’ll contribute to the development of advanced gas measurement equipment and work across multiple engineering fields. This role focuses on system-level thinking, hands-on integration, and practical problem solving with real hardware and complete measurement systems.

As a R&D Engineer at Gasmet, your work will be hands-on, varied, and impactful. You will:

Work hands-on with prototypes, test setups, system integration, and verification in our own laboratory

Take responsibility for the overall functionality of continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS)

Collaborate with colleagues from optics, electronics, chemistry, mechanics, automation, software, and IoT

Support production and other departments throughout the product lifecycle

Gradually deepen your expertise in gas measurement technology and become a key technical contact within your product area

Your role and responsibilities

Take ownership of system-level design and performance for assigned product families

Assemble, integrate, test, and troubleshoot system hardware and subsystems

Ensure our products meet customer and company requirements

Act as a technical driver for new product development within your area

Contribute to design updates, documentation changes, and component-level improvements when needed

Support purchasing by reviewing hardware components and identifying suitable replacements

Communicate regularly with colleagues across product management, procurement, production, service, and quality teams

Create and maintain documentation for your product family
