We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us.
I'm Jorge Santos, Head of Broadband Data Mediation, and I'm searching for someone ready to grow with us. We're a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on delivering end-to-end Performance Management (PM) and data mediation for fixed networks using OpenText NNMi/NOM and OPTIC Data Lake-turning raw network metrics into reliable KPIs and insights for our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Data is key for the future success of Telia Company and thus the department of Data Mediation Broadband is growing: The team needs a DevOps Engineer to lead the way on creating DevOps excellence for our performance and data mediation platform.
- You will own and ensure stable, scalable, and automated operation of the Broadband Data Mediation platform, with strong focus on data pipelines and underlying infrastructure.
- Operate and evolve data mediation platforms supporting fixed network performance management (PM)
- Build and maintain CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability for Vertica-centric solutions
- Ensure reliability, data freshness, and controlled deployments across environments
- Support onboarding of new data sources and scaling of ingestion pipelines
- Key skills to screen for:
- Strong DevOps background (CI/CD, automation, monitoring, Linux)
- Experience operating data platforms or OSS-like systems (not just app DevOps)
- Exposure to OPTIC/Vertica Data Lake or comparable large-scale data platforms (Hadoop-based, columnar DBs)
- Comfortable working close to engineers, architects, and operations (L2/L3 boundary)
