HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
Ensuring the optimum reliability, effectiveness, availability and ongoing maintainability of the different components installed on the passenger trains
Provide engineering expertise to optimize the life cycle costs of the fleet rolling stock components and systems
Analyze performance data, identify issues to make sure that corrective actions are implemented rapidly
Ensure planning and accomplishment of the customers availability, reliability and maintainability requirements
Using RAM (reliability, availability and maintainability) principles to improve maintenance practices and optimize work methods and life-cycle costs
Monitor practices, processes, maintenance and material changes to improve rolling stock performance to achieve customer objectives
Investigation of service issues including technical liaison with suppliers
Assess the impact of obsolete components and collaborate closely with procurement to implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the continued availability of critical spare parts
Work closely with manufacturer and other Stadler sites to improve processes
Collaborating to develop economically viable refit solutions
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Work experience from a RAM/LCC or technical Fleet Management position
Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or industrial engineering. Equivalent practical experience can compensate for university degree
Knowledge and experience in the railway/transportation sector is an advantage
