Work tasks
You will be responsible for hardware development and maintenance, including drafting specifications for new devices and managing change requests for existing ones. A key aspect involves selecting and integrating appropriate sensor technologies, designing their installations, and ensuring protections in challenging environments.
Select, integrate, and maintain hardware solutions for control systems.
Evaluate and implement commercial components like displays, IO modules, and sensors.
Manage component compatibility, reliability, and lifecycle with suppliers.
Work with diverse interfaces and protocols including CAN bus, Ethernet, and 4-20 mA.
Collaborate closely with electrical, software, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering teams.
