A well-established plastic surgery clinic in Malmö is expanding and is now seeking an experienced nurse anesthetist to strengthen the team.
The clinic performs planned, elective surgery in a highly specialized environment with an experienced multidisciplinary team and two operating theatres.
About the Role
As a nurse anesthetist, you will be responsible for planning, administering, and monitoring anesthesia for elective plastic surgery procedures in accordance with established prescriptions and guidelines.
You will work in close collaboration with anesthesiologists and the surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Preoperative assessment and risk evaluation
- Planning and administration of anesthesia (local, regional, and intravenous sedation/TIVA)
- Intraoperative monitoring of vital parameters
- Airway management and pharmacological optimization
- Postoperative monitoring and pain management
- Documentation in accordance with applicable regulations
- Quality assurance and compliance with Swedish standards and guidelines
- Readiness to manage acute situations and complications
- Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, with surgeries scheduled four days per week.
Requirements
- Registered nurse with a valid Swedish license
- Specialist training in anesthesia nursing
- At least two years of clinical experience as a nurse anesthetist
- Experience in surgical settings (experience in plastic surgery or day surgery is considered an advantage)
- Excellent command of Swedish and English
