Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager, this is a key position that will play an important part in LetsGetChecked’s success by maintaining monthly and quarterly financials for a growing and expanding company.

The role requires working directly with LetsGetChecked’s finance, commercial, product, and operations leaders, driving financial reporting and analysis, and developing reports to facilitate business leadership to make quick decisive decisions in a fast-paced industry.

This role is based in Dublin and will focus on supporting our business globally.

This is a hybrid position, based 2 days per week in our Dun Laoghaire headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and General Ledger Accounting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts to be presented to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliation.
  • Review month-end operational costs and liaise with the FP&A team to ensure accurate reporting and analysis against budget.
  • Ownership of the inventory accounting process ensuring accurate reporting of the valuation of inventory on hand, inventory consumption and inventory provision at month end.
  • Manage and review accounting of intercompany inventory movements across global inventory hubs.
  • Support the shared services model where required.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Maintain financial and other controls and improve control environment.
  • Assist with year-end audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure completion of
  • statutory audit in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare year end consolidated and standalone financial statements in accordance with
  • US GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Business Partnering
  • Act as a proactive finance business partner to operational managers, providing financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support planning, forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting Transformation
  • Play a key role in ensuring data readiness for future reporting transformation projects.
  • Work with the FP&A, operations and commercial teams to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • What we are looking for...
  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA), with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience or significant work experience in an equivalent role.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and an interest in US/Irish GAAP, and US Company legislation and regulations.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Resilient attitude and desire to see things through to completion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experienced in business partnering.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Appetite for systems and process improvements.
  • Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.
  • The base salary range for this position is €70,000 - €80,000 per year.
