IT Solution Manager, HR

We are looking for an experienced and skilled IT Solution Manager, HR to join our VR IT team in Helsinki.

In this key role, you will have the opportunity to develop, drive, and manage HR IT solutions that support VR people processes and business needs. VR is to renew the corporate level HR solution based on a modern HR SaaS solution, which is a key priority for this position for the next 2-3 years. You will lead HR transformation initiatives on the IT side and help shape the future target architecture for HR applications and integrations. In this role, you will ensure effective delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR-related IT solutions, supporting both operational excellence and strategic HR goals.

Main responsibilities include:

Own the HR IT solution roadmap and backlog.

Plan and oversee HR IT projects, including scope, milestones, resourcing, budget, and risks, on the IT side.

Ensure successful end-to-end delivery from design through build, test, deployment, and handover to operations.

Review and approve solution designs to ensure interoperability, scalability, and performance across the VR IT landscape.

Ensure appropriate testing, including component, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing, as well as non-functional requirements.

Own the runtime health of HR solutions, including SLAs, incident and problem management, and capacity management.
