About the role
In this position, you will work within the Industrial Measurements business area, focusing on high-precision instruments used in demanding industrial processes. Unlike pure electronics testing, this role focuses on the performance and durability of the complete product.
You will join a program consisting of multiple R&D projects where you'll be supported by senior test engineers. The work is 100% on-site at Vaisala's modern headquarters and laboratories in Vantaa, allowing you to work closely with physical devices and design teams.

Work tasks
Environmental & Reliability Testing: Executing tests according to established setups (e.g., thermal cycling) and reporting the results.
Mechanical Observation: Analyzing how plastics, metals, and coatings react under stress
Failure Analysis: Troubleshooting mechanical and hardware issues in collaboration with electronics, mechanical, and software designers.
Documentation: Reporting findings and managing test cases using Jira and Confluence.
We are looking for
A relevant degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or Electronics). We also welcome students in the final stages of their studies.
Previous experience from technical summer jobs, internships, or hobbies (e.g., maintenance, assembly, repair, or DIY electronics/mechanics projects).
