About the Assignment You will play a key role in strengthening technical process safety in a large-scale industrial project where safe design, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness are critical from the start. In this role, you help ensure that facilities are designed with a clear focus on reducing risk for workers, contractors, and the surrounding community. You will work closely with engineering consultants, contractors, equipment vendors, regulatory bodies, and third-party specialists to review safety aspects of the design and support the consistent application of safety standards across the project. The environment is technically demanding and highly regulated, with many interfaces between engineering, permitting, and industrial operations. This is an exciting opportunity to influence safety standards and design decisions in a complex industrial setting. Job DescriptionYou will review and validate safety aspects of facility design together with engineering contractors and equipment vendors. You will support the development, interpretation, and implementation of technical process safety standards based on regulatory requirements and industry best practice. You will help ensure that safety standards are applied consistently across the project. You will collaborate with regulatory bodies and third-party specialists to identify relevant requirements and understand how they affect the project. You will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to align stakeholders on safety expectations and compliance needs. You will support communication around safety-related topics and help resolve compliance questions during design and review activities.
