PeopleSoft Architect SC Clearance Required (or eligibility) To be eligible, you must have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years. Lead and Evolve Enterprise PeopleSoft Landscapes We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Architect to take ownership of our PeopleSoft technology capability within a fast-paced, multi-customer consulting environment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on delivering excellence across PeopleSoft platforms—spanning architecture, upgrades, integrations, and optimisation. While experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is advantageous, your deep PeopleSoft expertise will be the foundation of your success. You’ll act as the technical authority for PeopleSoft , shaping strategy, guiding delivery, and influencing customer outcomes. What You’ll Be Responsible For Practice Leadership & Ownership Lead and develop the PeopleSoft technology capability , defining roadmap, services, and best practices Act as the senior escalation point for complex PeopleSoft technical challenges Mentor and provide governance to technical consultants, developers, and DBAs Drive adoption of: Latest PeopleTools features Automation and modernisation approaches Improved monitoring and performance practices Continuously enhance delivery standards, tooling, and frameworks Solution Architecture & Design Own end-to-end architecture across PeopleSoft environments: Application design Customisation strategy Integration patterns Security and lifecycle management Define and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices Provide expert guidance across: PeopleTools upgrades PUM & Selective Adoption strategy Configuration and release management Support cloud and hybrid architecture decisions where relevant Delivery Excellence Oversee multi-client delivery , ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and supportable Review and assure: Technical designs Code quality Integration approaches Performance optimisation strategies Support pre-sales and solution shaping , including technical input and estimations Ensure enterprise-grade standards across: Security & compliance Disaster recovery Performance and availability Work closely with Managed Services teams to drive operational excellence Client Engagement & Influence Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions Lead: Technical workshops Architecture reviews Governance forums Influence customer technology strategy and PeopleSoft roadmaps

What You’ll Bring Core PeopleSoft Expertise (Essential) Deep technical knowledge of: PeopleSoft architecture & PeopleTools Integration Broker & integrations OpenSearch Security frameworks Proven experience delivering: PeopleTools upgrades PUM / Selective Adoption programmes Complex integrations Strong capability in performance tuning, optimisation, and troubleshooting across the full stack Leadership & Consulting Strength Experience leading teams within a consulting or managed services environment Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior audiences Proven ability to: Shape services and improve delivery Support business growth and pre-sales Experience designing on-premise and hybrid architectures Nice to Have Cloud & OCI Experience Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Exposure to: Cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments Migration or modernisation programmes Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) Monitoring and automation in cloud environments Additional Skills Oracle Database (RAC, Exadata, Autonomous Database) DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet) FinOps and cost optimisation awareness Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Who You Are A PeopleSoft expert who thrives on solving complex technical challenges A hands-on architect with a strategic mindset A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others Analytical, proactive, and delivery-focused Comfortable operating in a client-facing consultancy environment
