About the Assignment You will take end-to-end ownership of tailgate and charge lid functions in a global automotive environment where user experience, robustness, and compliance are all critical. In this role, you represent the user perspective throughout the full product lifecycle, from early concept and requirement definition to industrialization and field performance. You will work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and product management to shape solutions that are secure, reliable, and aligned with technical as well as regulatory expectations. The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on coordination across multiple interfaces, giving you the opportunity to influence both direction and delivery in a function that is central to the vehicle experience. Job DescriptionYou will own the tailgate and charge lid functions from concept through production and aftermarket. You will drive roadmaps and continuous improvements for the function over time. You will define and maintain functional and non-functional requirements together with the System Designer. You will act as a key interface toward internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You will secure realization, verification, and validation of the function. You will manage interfaces with related vehicle functions and help align dependencies across teams. You will ensure legal and regulatory compliance across global markets. You will drive root cause analysis, follow-ups, and corrective actions related to quality issues. RequirementsExperience from
