JOB DESCRIPTION

The role operates within Nokia's functional GMC model reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications & Executive Messaging. The role holder works closely with Business Segment and functional communications leads as part of the GMC team. The role holder will draw on other GMC teams, including media relations, internal communications, social, events, marketing strategy, technology marketing and partner marketing to deliver integrated, high-quality communications.

This role serves as the dedicated communications partner to the Chief Technology and AI Officer, providing senior counsel on positioning, messaging and stakeholder engagement. The role holder will bring a strategic lens to the Technology and AI organisation's communications, shaping plans at the point of design and ensuring that Nokia's technology story is told with the clarity and commercial relevance.

Given the pace and scale of change Nokia is navigating This role requires someone who is both a strategist and a practitioner with sufficient grounding in technology to engage credibly with the subject matter, and the communications expertise to translate it into narratives that resonate with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the integrated communications strategy for the Technology and AI organisation, aligned to Nokia's overall narrative, the GMC priorities and business objectives.
  • Build and execute a forward-looking communications strategy that anticipates key technology milestones, research announcements, partnership moments and industry events, translating complex technical and strategic developments into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Serve as the dedicated communications partner and strategic sparring partner to the Chief Technology and AI Officer, providing senior counsel on positioning, messaging, thought leadership and reputation.
