About this role

Responsibilities

• During your work shift, which will consist of (8) hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.
• As part of efficiently completing job tasks, a handheld scanner will be used to track products as it is loaded, unloaded, and moved around the facility.
• Counts suspended locations and looks for product in an 8-10 bay area
• Process audits from Suspends
• Document inventory errors
• While performing suspends, the TM would be expected to:
• Level Pick faces
• Rewrap pallets
• Research locations
• Reposition pallets
• Prepare donations for Team Members, Pass out bins, Trucker’s lounge, lunchroom, and for food banks/pantries/churches.
• This position uses computers extensively as part of their regular job duties so a strong proficiency with technology is critical.
• Backup Inventory Clerk Duties:
• Reporting and researching pending put away
• Searching for product
• Assisting with lost inventory
• Backup Cycle Counter Duties
• Counting warehouse wall to wall at least once
• Counting all A levels within first two weeks fo the month, leveling the A level, writing on product from locations, moving incorrectly placed pallets and reconciling miscellaneous pallets or product as you go.
• Assist with missing or lost product
• Assisting with blinding off damaged product to damaged locations
• Assist with preparing landfill trucks and compost, product destruction via compactor, reconciling product and pallets loaded.
• At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.
• Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
• Environment
• Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 12 hours)
• You will be provided a freezer suit, hearing protection, gloves, and headwear as part of your personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)
• Team members will be driving stand-up Crown PIT Forklifts and Reach Trucks. May be trained on Cherry picker for additional tasks.

Requirements

• 6 Month forklift experience listed on application or resume within the last 12 months.
• 12 months within the last 18 months experience in warehousing.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Computer and Inventory experience preferred.
• Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
• May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
• May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed. Cold Storage Experience Preferred.
• Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft office preferred.
