The exact start and duration of the summer trainee period will be agreed separately.</span></p><p style="text-align:left;"><span>As a trainee in Kempower’s Concepting team, you will get to participate in early‑phase product concepting, mechanical feasibility studies and hands‑on prototyping with the support of experienced colleagues.</span><br></p></div><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span><strong>Your everyday work can contain e.g. the following tasks:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Supporting early‑phase mechanical concept creation for new EV charging products</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Making 3D models, layouts and simple simulations (e.g. space/fit, structural feasibility)</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Participating in prototype builds and practical evaluation in the lab</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Documenting concept alternatives and preparing visual materials for concept reviews</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Assisting in mechanical requirement gathering and translating them into design inputs</span></p></li></ul><p><span>The position is located in Lahti. Majority of the work is expected to be done on‑site due to prototype building and hands‑on testing, but occasional remote work can be discussed.</span></p><p><span><strong>WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS TRAINEE POSITION?</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><p><span>You are a final-year student or a recent graduate in Mechanical engineering or a related field</span></p></li><li><p><span>Motivation to learn and courage to contribute actively</span></p></li><li><p><span>A proactive mindset and strong collaboration skills</span></p></li><li><p><span>Previous experience with mechanical design tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) or hands‑on prototyping is seen as an advantage</span></p></li></ul><p><span>As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills.
