About this role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Industrial Engine Mechanic to join a professional service company working with large diesel engines and heavy mechanical equipment. This role is suitable for a strong mechanical professional with solid assembly experience who is ready to grow into marine engine service work.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and disassembly of large engines and heavy equipment
- Installation and servicing projects at customer sites
- Work with diesel engines and mechanical components
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics in field conditions
- Reading and following technical drawings and documentation (English)
- Travel-based project work (approx. 50%)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly / industrial fitting
- Experience with large machinery, engines, turbines or heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical understanding and hands-on skills
- Ability to work independently in project environments
- Willingness to travel
- Good English skills
- Marine engine experience is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
