Music Teacher
The International School of Vantaa is a multicultural comprehensive school with around 670 students. The school offers English-language instruction for grades 1-9. Students either speak English as their home language or have achieved a high level of English proficiency. Admission is based on a language test. Our staff represents a variety of nationalities, and our curriculum aligns with Finland's National Core Curriculum for Basic Education. Our mission is to develop well-rounded, respectful students with strong general knowledge who can navigate a global environment in English.
Located in the Aviapolis area, our school shares facilities with the Point - Pakkala Learning and Information Centre, a public library, and an English-language daycare center. Position Available: Music Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic music teacher whose native language is English or who has achieved the highest level in the National Certificate of Language Proficiency test in English. Proficiency in the Finnish language is valued.
Requirements
- Higher university degree with a teaching qualification in music, as required by Finnish educational regulations (decree 986/1998).
- For degrees obtained outside Finland, an equivalent qualification approved by the Finnish National Board of Education is required.
