We are looking for a

Mill Sales Manager

to support business growth across South France and selected North African customers.

Your Responsibilities

Manage and book orders across the business area, ensuring compliance with established sales processes.

Lead and support customer negotiations.

Promote Valmet’s lifecycle solutions and offering service, guiding customers in selecting the optimal solutions.

Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders.

Collect and monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels.

Handle high-priority requests or escalations and communicate claim progress.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installed base data and market trends.

Align with and support corporate-level account management strategies.

Coordinate mill shutdown–restart schedules and service clock planning.

Lead mill teams or hubs to ensure efficient information exchange (e.g., quarterly meetings).

Collaborate closely with product managers, field services, and spare parts teams to develop new business opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For

A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Proven track record of success in the pulp and paper industry or a comparable process industry.

Commercial acumen combined with deep technical understanding, enabling you to position high-value solutions and influence customer decisions at multiple levels.

Fluency in both French and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

A valid driving license and full willingness to travel extensively across France and North Africa.

A highly driven, results-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Ability to operate autonomously in a complex, matrix organization while effectively managing multiple stakeholders.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills, acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
