Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior System Technician (Network Consultant – Level 4) to join their Network Delivery team. The role involves supporting day-to-day network operations while also acting as a key technical representative in infrastructure-related initiatives, particularly those associated with campus transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing administrative and operational tasks within the network delivery function.
  • Act as a representative of the IT department in projects related to network infrastructure, including campus transformation initiatives.
  • Communicate and advocate technical requirements, architectural direction, and strategic objectives with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support, manage, and enhance enterprise-level network environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Execute network-related changes such as migrations, upgrades, and modernization of campus network infrastructure.
  • Handle troubleshooting and incident resolution in complex production environments.
  • Contribute to maintaining secure and compliant IT environments, adhering to information security standards.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (primarily in Swedish).
  • Experience Required:
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in network engineering/consulting roles.
  • Proven experience working in large-scale organizational network environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in routing and switching (LAN/WAN).
  • Strong experience with firewalls and network security solutions.
  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise wireless networks.
  • Background in network operations, administration, and troubleshooting in high-availability environments.
  • Experience in network transformation initiatives, including migrations and modernization projects.
  • At least 2 years operating at a senior (Level 4) competency level.
