The Engineering (Tech) Team is responsible for all Feedzai product development. Together with Product Management and Data Science, we build the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real-time with a machine learning first approach. While building the best value for our customers, you will work with a wide range of technical challenges. Such as building distributed systems that need to operate 24/7 and ultra-low latencies, solving UI/UX problems to help fraud analysts to fight fraud more efficiently. In addition, designing extensive databases from relational, NoSQL and graphs, validate and develop new data science techniques and algorithms.

You have a critical mindset and the ability to mentor others, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, production-ready mobile software with minimal oversight. On a daily basis, you’ll have the chance to work on subjects such as High-Performance Mobile SDKs, Security, and Scalability.

Your Day to Day:

Own the end-to-end delivery of robust SDKs, from architectural design to production-ready deployment, ensuring they scale predictably in high-stakes environments;

Solve high-complexity technical challenges with significant autonomy, making the critical trade-offs between development speed and long-term software quality;

Champion engineering excellence by mentoring peers and raising the bar for design reviews, code quality, and mobile best practices;

Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical mobile solutions that maximize business impact and user experience;

You Have & You Know-how:

BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree;

5+ years of experience in developing and delivering advanced mobile applications;

Mastery of the Android ecosystem, from high-level app architecture in Kotlin and/or Java to low-level OS internals and security frameworks.

Experience with Mobile CI/CD and Automation (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, or Bitrise) to ensure predictable, high-quality releases.

Extreme Ownership mindset, proactively seeking context and driving tasks to completion with growing autonomy.

We also value experience in the following topics:

Designing and creating frameworks or SDKs for mobile applications;

Native app writing ability for iOS environments (Swift/Objective-C);

Knowledge in Cross-platform tools (Cordova, Xamarin, and Flutter) and Typescript;

Good technical English communication skills.
