Senior Fund Accounting Officer - Oversight

About this role

Supervise and challenge third‑party administrators on NAVs, financial statements, and capital account reporting. “Review NAV packs, financial statements… prepared by third‑party administrators.” Perform analytical reviews, identify anomalies, and maintain clear, defensible documentation. Coordinate with AIFM, GCD, Cosec, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables. Review PE‑specific calculations (waterfall, carried interest, equalisation) and validate fee models. Strengthen oversight processes through control enhancements, SOP updates, and onboarding support.

3–5+ years’ experience in audit (PE/alternatives) or fund administration; audit is a strong advantage. “Audit background is a strong advantage… central to an Oversight role.” Solid understanding of private equity mechanics, Lux GAAP/IFRS, and fund structures. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge outputs and document conclusions clearly. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable coaching junior team members.
