Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer to join their engineering division in Lund, Sweden. The selected candidate will be part of a specialized software factory team responsible for developing and enhancing test frameworks, test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and analytics solutions.
This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing software test frameworks and automation tools within modern continuous integration and delivery environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software test frameworks and testing tools
- Implement and enhance automated testing solutions within CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to the development and operation of test rigs and testing environments
- Develop and execute test strategies using ECU emulation and mocking techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Produce and maintain clear and structured technical documentation
- Analyze system requirements and propose efficient testing methodologies for large-scale systems
- Troubleshoot issues and drive resolution in collaboration with stakeholders
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on test automation and test framework development
- Proven experience working within CI/CD environments
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing solutions
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Required Skills:
- Strong programming experience in Python and PyTest
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Zuul
- Experience with ECU testing, emulation, and mocking tools (e.g., Snok or similar, Remotive Labs ECU or equivalent)
- Ability to develop and execute test cases using ECU simulation techniques
