Responsibilities

  • Design and modify 3D CAD models using Creo and SolidWorks, supporting CAM simulations and prototyping.
  • Conduct CFD and multiphysics simulations (fluid, thermal, structural) using ANSYS and COMSOL
  • Run structural and thermal FEA to assess strength, deformation, and heat transfer
  • Analyze simulation results and translate them into design improvements
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation
  • Collaborate with international academic and industrial partners
  • Contribute to Swedish, EU, and international research proposals in engineering, energy, and sustainability

About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in CAD, CAM, CFD, and FEA to support the design, simulation, and optimization of advanced engineering systems within MG’s R&D projects. The role involves developing mechanical and thermal models using tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and COMSOL, and translating concepts into validated engineering solutions through simulation and analysis. You will collaborate with international academic and industrial partners, contribute to technical documentation and performance evaluation, and support sustainability-focused projects in areas such as renewable energy and thermal systems. This position is ideal for a motivated engineer interested in applied research, multidisciplinary collaboration, and real-world engineering impact.
