As our CISO, you will lead Valmet's global information security work and ensure our people, systems, operations and customers stay protected. You will shape our cyber strategy, strengthen resilience and help move our customers' performance forward.

You will be tasked with ensuring our information security strategy, governance and practices are supporting our Lead the Way strategy and are up to par for the threats of tomorrow. You will lead a CISO office and steer the work of cyber security experts in IT organization and business areas.

Your responsibilities

You will lead our global information security strategy and governance.

You will drive cyber risk management, compliance and regulatory alignment.

You will collaborate with business areas to strengthen OT and product cybersecurity.

You will develop our global security awareness and culture programs.

You will act as a key advisor to the Head of IT and senior leadership teams.

Who is the professional we are looking for?

You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Engineering or a similar field.

You have a CCISO or equivalent certification.

You have 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership responsibilities in a global environment.

You have strong hands-on experience in risk management, operational security and security governance.

You have experience with industrial/OT security - this is a strong advantage.

You communicate clearly and can influence senior stakeholders confidently.
