Finance Team at SumUp The Finance organization is at the heart of SumUp’s operational excellence. We handle critical processes such as Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, and Procurement, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. As we continue to grow, we focus on automating processes, improving operational workflows, and providing actionable insights across the organization. About the Role We are looking for a Process Improvement Assistant to join our Finance team in Sofia. This role is ideal for someone excited by operational excellence, automation, and process optimization. As a Process Improvement Assistant, you will: Support the evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial processes. Maintain and enhance automation solutions, including Excel VBA macros, Google Apps Scripts, and internal tools. Assist with SAP master data administration and other finance tools. Support month-end closing activities, including data extracts, reconciliations, and reporting. Collaborate with finance teams and process owners to optimize workflows and ensure scalable operations. Maintain clear documentation of processes, policies, and internal controls. This role can be part-time (minimum 30 hours/week) but is on-site in Sofia, providing hands-on experience in finance operations and process automation. What Profile We Look For We are seeking a candidate who is: Hard Skills & Experience: Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Functions, VBA). Strong English communication skills. Process-oriented with a passion for data.
