About this role

Location: We are flexible! Come and join us either in Barcelona, Hamburg or Berlin (preferred).

We are looking for a high-potential, analytical, and execution-oriented Junior Marketplace Performance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the "engine room" of our ride-hailing marketplace, supporting the balance between demand and supply in specific European markets.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head of Marketplace Performance, you will focus on the execution and monitoring of our growth and efficiency tactics
  • In collaboration with the Marketplace Performance Team and Local Markets, you will monitor marketplace health on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, identifying criticalities, addressing issues and flagging risks early
  • You will support the implementation of the weekly investment strategy for rider and driver incentives. This includes setting up campaigns, ensuring correct targeting, and verifying that "live" actions align with the strategy
  • You will report on weekly marketplace performance, assessing progress versus expectations, evaluating initiative results and adjusting setups, allocations and actions for the upcoming week to ensure optimal performance.
  • You will assist in running A/B tests and pilot programs for new pricing, allocation or incentives features, helping to gather data and document learnings
  • You will collaborate with Local Operations teams to ensure our global strategy is adapted to local nuances, acting as a bridge between data-driven planning and on-the-ground reality.
  • You will challenge existing ways of working and identify improved processes, approaches and actions that enhance the efficiency and impact of the Marketplace Performance Team.
  • Degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Engineering or similar fields
  • 1+ years of work experience in analytical roles (internships in high-growth startups, consulting, or data-driven operations are a plus)
  • Analytics & business sense skills:
  • Strong analytical background with practical experience in Excel/Google Sheets, knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data visualisation tools
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and investment decisions
  • Innovative approach focused on improving processes, tools and performance
