Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business + Previous experience in accounting and/or auditing + fluency in English and Spanish + Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- The Team You Will Join
- We are currently seeking a
- Senior Accountant
- to reinforce our Accounting & Reporting team.
- As a
- Senior Accountant
- , you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, and financial integrity of several financing and holding entities under Lux GAAP and IFRS. You will work closely with the Accounting & Reporting Manager, internal departments, and our corporate headquarters.
- Functions and responsibilities:
- Reviewing general and subledgers in SAP ERP for daily/monthly/quarterly transactions.
- Ensure proper execution and documentation of internal controls.
- Preparation of
- individual
- and
- consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annually) for both individual and consolidated financial statements.
- Working closely with different departments for monthly, quarterly, annual closing (Treasury, Fiscal, Legal, predominantly).
- Collaborate with various teams across Luxembourg and Spain.
- Participating in ad
- hoc projects
- as needed and requested.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business.
- Around 6/7 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing.
- Knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP.
- Experience with reporting, external audits and consolidation.
- Experience with
- SAP and
- Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work successfully both autonomously and within teams with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in
- English and Spanish.
