About the role

As a Data Operations Quality Manager, you will be the steward of the operational quality that enables the reliability and performance of our advanced visual intelligence products. Embedded in the Data Team and working closely with product managers and engineering, you’ll shape how we build and execute operational processes, annotation work, and quality measurements of the real-world product performance. Your work will ensure that operational quality is visible and transparent to enable decision-making and a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own operational quality within the data team
  • Establish and maintain a single source of truth on quality metrics for all stakeholders
  • Design and maintain annotation and QC frameworks, including failure categories and review processes
  • Establish a real-world performance measurement, balancing accuracy and resources
  • Monitor and document the performance of external suppliers and contractors
  • Create and evolve operational playbooks and SOPs to make sure processes are efficient and effective
  • Support product, operations, engineering, and customer success with clear quality narratives, explain quality implications of decisions, and trade-offs
  • Who we look for
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality role on production-grade deployment
  • Strong analytical and statistical thinking
  • Proven experience designing and improving end-to-end workflows and SOPs
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented working style and willingness to dive into concrete data, images, and human annotations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining quality concepts to non-experts
  • Proven track record of influencing without formal authority in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments
  • High comfort with ambiguity, evolving products, and balancing rigor with speed and practical constraints
