First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Senior Product Operations Specialist

Mews is hiring a Senior Product Operations Specialist to remove friction across our product value stream and elevate product management capability across the organisation. This is not a support role. This is not a delivery role. This is a strategic, horizontal position designed to scale how Product works.

Why this role exists

As we scale, we’re seeing increasing friction across R&D and go-to-market handoffs. Product managers are navigating complex discovery, delivery and go-to-market motions, but without consistent processes, tooling standards or engagement patterns.

This role exists to:

Remove bottlenecks between R&D and GTM

Build stronger operating foundations for Product

Enable PMs to do their best work

Design systems that scale with us

You will not execute product delivery for teams. You will design the conditions that make product delivery excellent.

Your mission

You will act as the horizontal enabler across all product teams.

You’ll build a strong Product community, establish shared language and operating standards, and own the processes that connect discovery, delivery and go-to-market.

You’ll report directly to Hugo and work closely with Product Directors, PMs, Product Marketing, and GTM Enablement to reduce friction and clarify engagement patterns.

This role carries strategic accountability for improving how Product operates across the organisation.

What you’ll be responsible for

Product Management Enablement

Build and nurture a community of Product Managers, including guilds, ceremonies and shared learning

Own onboarding for new PMs and continuously improve it

Ensure consistent adoption of product methodologies and frameworks

Define and evangelise best practices across discovery, prioritisation, execution and delivery

Process and Value Stream Optimisation

Analyse the end-to-end product value stream and remove bottlenecks

Clarify R&D and GTM engagement models and handoff patterns

Take broken or unclear processes and implement scalable improvements

Ensure value delivered by Product is clearly articulated and measurable

Tooling and Operating Rhythm

Own product tooling standards and best practices

Ensure teams are using analytics, roadmapping and delivery tools effectively

Run regular health checks on the metrics that matter

Support leadership in driving efficiency and consistency across lifecycle management

You will represent PM needs cross-functionally, without becoming a proxy executor for other teams.

Who we’re looking for

This is an IC4-level hire. We’re looking for someone senior enough to drive structural change, not just provide hands-on support.

You might come from:

A Senior Product Manager who has built systems to enable other PMs

A TPM with broad value-stream exposure

A Product Operations or Enablement professional from a scaling tech company

An analytics or operations leader with strong product exposure

Experience we value

4 or more years in a product organisation

Experience improving broken or unclear processes at scale

Deep understanding of the full product value stream, from discovery through go-to-market

Exposure to scale-ups or organisations slightly ahead in their scaling journey

Strong stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, and GTM

Data-driven mindset with structured problem-solving ability

Experience with analytics and BI tools, roadmapping platforms and delivery systems

Most importantly, you care about enabling others to succeed.

Why this role is different

It is horizontal across Product, not embedded in one squad

It is strategic in remit, not tactical support

It is accountable for reducing friction between R&D and GTM

It will shape how Product operates as we scale

The market for senior Product Operations talent is still emerging. We’re open to strong profiles from adjacent backgrounds if you’ve built systems, clarified chaos, and improved operating models before.

If you’re excited by building clarity at scale, strengthening the connective tissue between teams, and designing systems that make product organisations thrive, we’d love to speak.

Let’s build the operating engine behind great product together.
