Role We are looking for a Sr. Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Ops - Network Engineering department in a fully remote capacity in the Netherlands, reporting to the Manager, Network Engineering. This position involves a mix of infrastructure, project management, and network engineering responsibilities. You will drive the design, implementation, and operation of complex network architectures, leading large-scale data center builds and expansions from start to finish with a strong sense of urgency. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Plan, implement, document, and manage data center cabinet layouts and power density to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability Oversee server capacity deployments, integrating infrastructure with automation to support global scalability and optimized resource utilization Collaborate with project management and engineering development teams to align on service requirements and hardware integration Work across functional teams to ensure the seamless synchronization of hardware, software, and network resources Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex data center infrastructure-related issues Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Professional experience in remote data center operations, including device configuration and debugging fiber and patching issues 2-5 years of experience working with high-speed networks ranging from 10G to 100G and beyond Hands-on experience in BGP routing operations and troubleshooting for both IPv4 and IPv6 in large-scale environments Proven organizational skills with experience managing complex priorities within problem ticketing and inventory systems Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience with Linux/Unix environments and proficiency in writing Unix shell scripts Technical knowledge of DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec protocols with practical troubleshooting experience Ability to automate end-to-end deployments at scale to drive operational efficiency
