As our new Data Scientist you will play a crucial role in transforming data into models that provide actionable insights and drive key decision-making processes. You will work on diverse projects, from data exploration and cleaning to building sophisticated machine learning models. Your expertise will help us solve complex business and customer problems and enhance our services.
WHO YOU ARE:
You have a Phd or Master’s degree in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
At least 5 years of relevant data science experience, with previous experience in an e-commerce or marketplace environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams
Good coding skills in Python and SQL. Experience in BigQuery and PostgreSQL is a plus
Skilled in statistical analysis and have hands-on experience with the standard data science stack (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Jupyter, matplotlib).
Familiar with best practices in coding, including the use of Git, code reviews, linting, and testing.
Experience with computer vision frameworks and datasets such as OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or torchvision.
Curious and proactive about exploring new AI developments, keeping up with the fast-moving landscape of generative models, agents, and ML tooling.
