Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning the capacity of the hub to ensure that all tasks and activities can be effectively distributed and managed.
  • Partner closely with other Hub Planners and Hub Leads across all 4 Sourcing & Contracting hubs globally to ensure effective operations.
  • Collaborate with peers from other S&C Hubs to ensure knowledge sharing and independent day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and maintain relevant process knowledge articles, category cards, and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities and define requirements for system enhancements, partnering with process excellence, Ariba, and IT organizations to test and deliver them, ensuring successful deployment through change management and communication processes.
  • Resolve issues and handle escalations within the current process to ensure business stakeholder and category team satisfaction.
  • Define and monitor metrics to evaluate process health and effectiveness, providing ongoing service control and sustainability.
  • Understand characteristics of the current sourcing strategy and actively identify opportunities for improvement of business stakeholder experience.
  • Demonstrate both tactical and strategic thinking and creative problem-solving to position the Procurement organization as a tool for supporting the business.
  • Manage execution of projects (RFx) with value up to $20 million.
  • Responsible for end-to-end compliance contract management process with third parties, including drafting, negotiations, contract compliance, and execution.
  • Complete internal and external third-party risk assessments prior to contracting and maintain accurate records of risk assessment findings and proposed risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate the outcomes of risk assessments and inform business stakeholders about proposed mitigation strategies.
  • Manage interns or/and ETRs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Sourcing and/or Contracting experience.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of business processes supported by transaction processing capabilities.
  • Fluency in English language plus French. Italian is a huge nice to have.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint at a minimum).
  • Enhanced knowledge of SAP Ariba system.
  • Enhanced knowledge of compliant sourcing and contracting processes.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Global and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes.
  • Willingness to challenge current thinking/processes.
  • Solid experience identifying and leading change initiatives, strategic thinking.

  • Physical Position Requirements
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business meetings, workshops, and leadership meetings.
  • Travel expectations can be up to 15% of the time.
