Join Silex Microsystems as a CAD Engineer and play a key role in enabling the manufacturing of cutting-edge MEMS products for leading global customers. In this role, you will:

Be responsible for setup of wafer layouts in CAD tool for both new and existing customers entering production

Optimize and propose modifications to customer designs based on design rules to ensure manufacturability

Maintain and define design guidelines and related documentation

Participate in customer dialogues regarding design-related topics

Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure product specifications are met

We are looking for someone who has:

A Master’s degree in a relevant field

Previous experience working in a CAD tool, either academically or professionally (Silex uses L-Edit from Siemens for 2D design)

Professional experience in MEMS production is considered a strong merit

Professional experience in closely related CAD disciplines (e.g., MEMS design, IC design, PCB design, CMOS technologies)

Experience working within MEMS-production or relevant CAD-related fields (e.g., IC design, PCB design, CMOS)

Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Swedish is considered a plus

A structured way of working and a strong willingness to learn and develop within Silex
