The jobholder will be expected to have a sound knowledge and understanding of the grid regulatory framework, particularly the Connection and Use of System Code (and related codes), a sufficient relevant appreciation of the GB Grid and European Network Codes and an overall understanding of the UK and Ireland regulatory and code governance framework.
Experience and proven ability to support and develop collaboration with internal departments including Project Delivery, Operations, O&M Services, Commercial Development, Global Energy Management, Policy, Risk & Assurance and Legal in support of grid and regulatory processes.
Commercial awareness and negotiation skills essential.
Experience in performing and interpreting complex financial analysis to enable data and information to be presented to executive brief standard
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Ability to develop relationships to analyse business challenges and opportunities
Effective forward planning and management of own workload and that of indirect reports
Ability to prepare and analyse substantial reports, including weekly/monthly updates, whilst also able to manage
Ability to manage multiple conflicting timelines/deadlines
Ability to work across the organisation with a multi-disciplinary team, with range of peers or “out of line” personnel to achieve outcomes/results
