We are looking for a Chief Commissioning Engineer, Plant Automation with a main responsibility in Energy New Build Plant Automation Commissioning. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland, but Turku and Helsinki, Finland, are also negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid work. This role involves frequent travel, up to 80% of the time.
The competence areas are various PLC Automation Systems, Network systems, server-based HMI - SWOIS.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities: Plant automation testing and commissioning
Perform maintenance and/or troubleshooting on Wärtsilä products
Perform installation supervision and commissioning works of Wärtsilä power plant installations
Participate in the improvement of new products when performing warranty activities
Identify failures, adjust, assist in testing installations according to instructions
Provide internal and external work reports according to Wärtsilä standards
Control systems engineering, electrical & automation: Siemens Step 7, Siemens Step 7 V13 TIA Portal, Modicon Unity
Knowledge of network IPs, ring switches, and routers
Server environment, Microsoft Hyper-V
