Responsibilities
- As a Solution Architect, you own end-to-end solution architecture for business initiatives and act as a bridge between business and technology. You ensure solutions are well governed, scalable, secure and aligned with Enterprise Architecture principles across applications, integrations, data and infrastructure.
- Your responsibility area consists of VR-owned and developed solutions as well as externally provided service-based solutions (including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS) delivered by VR's vendors. You will work across multiple businesses and customer segments, covering both B2C and B2B contexts. These include Long Distance Traffic, City Traffic, Logistics, Fleet Care, and related capabilities that directly or indirectly shape the customer experience across VR.
- What you will work on
- In your day-to-day work, you will:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to discuss ongoing and upcoming initiatives
- Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into clear and actionable architecture documentation
- Guide and plan implementations together with Technical Architects, Lead Developers and Principal Developers across multiple systems
- Make and document architectural decisions and trade-offs, balancing cost, scalability, non-functional requirements, maintainability and reusability
- Govern solution architecture
