As a Housekeeper at Waldorf Astoria Helsinki, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort across guest rooms and public areas, contributing to a seamless and luxurious stay for every guest. Your role is essential in upholding the hotels reputation for exceptional service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas, ensuring they meet luxury brand standards
- Make and refresh beds, including changing linens and ensuring flawless presentation
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items
- Replenish guest amenities, towels, linens, and in-room supplies
- Vacuum carpets, clean floors, and remove waste from rooms and service areas
- Conduct detailed room inspections to ensure quality and consistency
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Handle guest requests efficiently, professionally, and with a service-focused approach
- Follow hotel cleanliness, hygiene, and sustainability guidelines at all times
- Support team members and assist with additional housekeeping duties as required
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills (additional languages are an advantage)
- Impeccable grooming and professional presentation in line with luxury brand standards
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, including week
