How you will make an impact

Support the preparation of, and submit, reports and responses to queries, both internally to the board / relevant committees and externally.

Supply data and information for quarterly Risk & Compliance Committee and Operational Risk Committee reporting.

Supply data and information for and preparation of PRA/FCA/Lloyd’s and overseas regulatory reports

Breach and Complaints reporting.

Maintenance of the regulatory deadline timetable (including issuance of reminders, dates of submissions and reporting on any late returns).

Management of the policy and procedures register.

Maintenance of the Gifts and Entertainment register and the Conflicts register.

Maintenance of the Compliance team Intranet site.

Work with the Compliance team to support the delivery of other ad hoc tasks and new initiatives as required.

Assist generally in the efficient running and management of the department, such as scheduling team meetings, training sessions, etc.

What you'll need to succeed

Administrative experience within an office environment

Some compliance experience OR an interest in the Lloyd’s market environment, compliance and regulatory issues.

Enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills to foster good working relationships

Ability to pro-actively manage workload and prioritize tasks to ensure service standards are met.

Ability to maintain an independent view where necessary: willingness to challenge and question constructively.

Proficient use of mainstream Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills
