About the role
We’re looking for a Senior CIAM Engineer to take ownership of the customer identity layer for high-traffic, customer-facing applications.
This role is focused on designing and scaling authentication and authorization systems that directly impact security, user experience, and platform performance.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and security teams in an environment where identity is a critical part of the business.
What you’ll do
Design and implement authentication and authorization flows using OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML -Own and manage Auth0, including Actions, Rules, Hooks, and custom login experiences -Integrate identity across web, mobile, and backend systems -Implement MFA, Adaptive MFA, and bot protection mechanisms -Customize and optimize Universal Login and user journeys -Automate identity configurations using Terraform or similar tools -Lead user migration from legacy systems into modern identity platforms -Troubleshoot and optimize authentication flows using logs and monitoring tools
What you bring
7+ years of experience in identity, security, or backend engineering -Deep expertise in OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and JWT -Strong development skills in JavaScript and Node.js -Experience with REST APIs and secure system-to-system communication -Solid understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and fine-grained authorization -Hands-on experience with Auth0

- Auth0 Professional or Expert certification -Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP -Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR tools such as Splunk or Datadog -Experience with LDAP or Active Directory
- Own the identity architecture for applications at scale -Work hands-on with modern identity technologies in a high-impact environment -Collaborate across engineering, product, and security -Be part of a growing organization where identity is business-critical
Nice to have
