Trade Finance Manager

Are you our new Trade Finance Manager ?
We are looking for a hands-on Trade Finance Manager to join our team in our Helsinki office. This is an excellent opportunity to work in international trade finance operations and customers, as part of a team where people genuinely enjoy working together.
The role is varied, offering the chance to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, support reporting, and contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures and working methods within the Business Support Group (3 Employees in Helsinki and 6 in Stockholm).
Main responsibilities
Support production and customers with product expertise in International Guarantees and Documentary Credits, and other Trade Finance products.
Ensure correct registration by Back-Office of transactions into bank's systems
Ensure that correct documentation and transactional due diligences have been completed
Ensure correct implementation and updating of procedures and instructions
Main tasks
Handling guarantees and documentary credits
Liaising effectively with internal counterparties
Providing customer service
Supporting in reporting to internal and external counterparties and authorities
Assisting in all administrative tasks within the Business Support Group
Requirements
- Academic degree or relevant Vocational post-High School education
- 3-5 years of experience in Trade Finance or similar banking operations
- Solid grasp of banking processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English (French is a plus)
- Advanced Microsoft Office programs skills Experience, SWIFT is an advantage
